Welcome to Brixton Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of our website brixtonvehiclehire.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services you accept these Terms.

1. Brixton Rental Terms

All vehicle rentals with Brixton are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. That agreement sets out the specific terms, conditions, insurance cover, fees, and your responsibilities for the relevant rental. If any conflict exists between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will take precedence.

2. Brixton Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Brixton, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old when renting from Brixton (age limits may vary by vehicle, and a young-driver surcharge may apply to drivers under 25). Hold a full, valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, maintained for the minimum period stated in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of address, along with a payment method accepted by Brixton, as required at the time of rental.

3. Brixton Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Brixton location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are usually due when the vehicle is collected. All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. ...

4. Brixton Vehicle Collection and Return

  • You must inspect the vehicle thoroughly at collection and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by both parties. Return the vehicle in the same condition as collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated and charged to you. Repair work must not proceed without prior written authorisation from Brixton.

5. Coverage and Liability

  • Basic third-party insurance is included with all Brixton rentals. Full coverage details and the applicable excess amounts are set out in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial liability. We recommend reviewing these options carefully before you sign the Agreement. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount specified.

6. Cancellation and Changes — Brixton

Brixton's cancellation and amendment policies vary by booking type and notice period. Please refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for specific details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Brixton Restrictions

You must not use the Brixton vehicle for:

  • Any unlawful purpose or activity. Racing, rallying, off-road driving, or other dangerous activities. Transporting hazardous or toxic materials. Sub-letting to third parties or permitting unauthorized drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes the vehicle is not designed for...

Violating these restrictions may result in immediate Brixton rental termination and additional charges.

8. Limitation of Brixton's Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Brixton will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these terms will be limited to the total fees paid by you to Brixton for the services in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Brixton Jurisdiction

These Terms, as applied by Brixton, are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Updates to Terms

Brixton may update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon posting on the Brixton website. Continued use of Brixton services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
